Winter Snow

This year has been kind of a wild ride, for sure.  I never in a million years could have imagined that this would be how 2022 would go, what with taking the dive to become a business owner and no longer being just a hobbyist and how absolutely overwhelming the support has been from both my family and the community at large.

This year has also taught me what I need to make changes for and better ways of structuring many things in the balance of work and more work and life.  As such, from the evening of the 23rd to January 3rd, I’ll be closed for a hibernation week.  I’m going to have time with my family for the holiday and do some organizational work to prepare for 2023 and all the new, fun challenges it’ll bring.

I’ll still likely answer messages and call backs as I can, so if you want to send inquiries you feel free to do so.  I just won’t be around to take in new work until the new year.

I want to thank my family and friends, who have been so supportive and have faithfully come to me with all kinds of challenges or very interesting custom work.

I want to thank all the customers who chose to work with me this year and trust me to help them feel good in their garments, help them make their special day go off without a hitch, and to help them make things go from their mind to their hands.

I want to thank Andrea Hoover, owner of A Stitch N Time in Middletown, for both taking a chance on bringing me on as a worker and for her support as I transitioned to being an independent shop of my own.  You helped me find my calling after a lifetime of praying for guidance on the matter.  For this, and all the help you gave me, I will always be grateful.

Thank you so very much to everyone who has made 2022 one of the best years yet.  May your family be blessed this Christmas season and I hope you have a happy holiday, no matter what you celebrate.
